One of the more beautiful and exceptional flowers in the world at one that is especially revered in Asian countries is the Cherry Blossom. For most Western civilizations the rose has become the ultimate flower and many who grew up within an western culture know the symbolic importance and significance of a rose. However most typically for the Chinese the cherry blossom represent women. The beauty of the blossom is thought to directly reflect the beauty of a women. For the Japanese they represent a variety of thoughts and emotions. They can represent new life since they bloom in the spring which marks the beginning of a new year.
